Chronic knee pain can make everyday activities feel impossible, from playing with kids or grandkids to simply walking without discomfort. Painful knees can disrupt sleep, limit mobility, and take away the joy of an active life.
Ignoring knee pain often leads to worsening joint damage, reduced function, and increased discomfort. Conditions like arthritis, meniscus tears, tendonitis, bursitis, or persistent crunching and popping sounds are common contributors to knee pain, making even basic movements a challenge.
Knee injections are a safe, effective treatment designed to provide relief and restore mobility. These injections use a natural lubricant to cushion the knee joint and reduce friction, allowing smoother movement and less pain. Administered as a series of targeted injections, this treatment directly addresses the source of discomfort by replenishing the protective fluid in the joint.
These injections are non-invasive and trusted by professional athletes to support recovery and improve joint function. They help reduce swelling, promote tissue health, and offer lasting relief from chronic knee pain. With knee injections, you can regain flexibility, stability, and energy—allowing you to return to the activities you enjoy with confidence.

After graduation from Chiropractic School in St. Louis he returned to Nebraska to start a practice. He has enjoyed working with professional athletes throughout his career.

Hello, my name is Stella, and I was born in Phoenix, Arizona, but moved to Omaha at the age of 9. My family immigrated here from Mexico, and I am a first-generation Mexican-American. I saw how hard my parents worked and struggled for my siblings and me. They wanted to give us a better life and were my role models. I graduated from Omaha North High in 1991 with Honors and had a full academic scholarship to the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
I have always been interested in medicine, and when I learned of the Physician Assistant profession, it was a perfect fit for me. I entered the University of Nebraska Medical Center Physician Assistant Program and graduated in 1997.
Since then, I have worked in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Urgent Care, Ob-Gyn, and Community Health. I have learned many procedural skills in the interim. I decided to join the Arthritis Pain and Wellness Center to help people in pain. I hope to continue to educate and help arthritic patients get the pain relief they seek by offering non-surgical alternatives.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling. My favorite place is anywhere near a beach and water. I have 3 children, a daughter and twin sons. I also have a Havanese dog who keeps me busy as well.
